Project Statuses
What each project status means — from Draft through In Progress to Completed — and what to do when sending pauses.
Every project carries a status, shown as a pill on the Projects list and the project page.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Created but not yet launched. You can still edit everything. |
| Preparing | Getting ready to send — Rose is setting up the outreach. |
| In Progress | Live. Candidates are moving through the sequence. |
| Paused | On hold. Click Resume to carry on. |
| Completed | Every candidate has received the full sequence. Rose still handles replies that arrive later, and adding new candidates resumes the project. |
| Cancelled | Stopped by you. Cancelled projects sit in their own section on the list, and can be archived to hide them. |
Pausing, resuming and cancelling
Use Pause and Resume on the project page to hold outreach. Cancel project stops any new outreach for good — candidates who were already contacted can still reply.
Cancelling a project after launch doesn't refund credits already used on contacted candidates. See Credits.
When sending pauses on its own
Rose pauses a project automatically if it can no longer send safely, and shows a banner explaining why:
- The mailbox was disconnected. Sending is paused: the mailbox this campaign sends from was disconnected. Click Reconnect mailbox, then Resume. The project owner also receives an email about it.
- No inbox is connected for email steps. Only the LinkedIn steps go out until the owner connects an inbox.
If something else stops a project from running, the reason appears in the project header so you know what to fix.
